Built to make the next move obvious.
A case study of this website: what it had to achieve, how it was composed, and the decisions that make it fast, accessible and easy to act on.
Make the offer clear in one screen.
The studio sells several connected capabilities — AI concierge, websites, video, automation, content and outreach. The risk with a catalogue that broad is that a visitor reads a list of services and still cannot tell what happens if they get in touch.
The objective was therefore not “a beautiful homepage”. It was a single path: state the positioning, show the thinking, prove it with something the visitor can try, then offer one obvious next step. Every section had to earn its place on that path.
- One promise in the hero, not a list of features
- Seven services visible without a carousel or a hidden menu
- Two proofs a visitor can experience in the browser: an interactive concierge and a motion concept
- A quote request that works without an account, a phone call or a calendar link
Quiet confidence, not decoration.
The references were editorial and architectural: generous type, deep green-blue grounds, a warm off-white for the reading sections, and a single turquoise accent used for action rather than ornament. Two typefaces carry the whole system — a tight geometric sans for structure and an italic serif for emphasis — so hierarchy comes from scale and spacing instead of extra weights.
The hero uses one generated orbital graphic rather than stock photography: it is small, it animates slowly, and it can be paused by the operating system's reduced-motion setting. Nothing on the page depends on an image library.
Serif italic for emphasis · geometric sans for structure · letterspaced caps for labels
One composition, three rhythms.
The layout is not a desktop page squeezed narrower. Below 740px the hero type scales with the viewport, the seven services become a single column with rules between them, the demo cards stack, and the navigation collapses into a real menu button rather than disappearing.
- Breakpoints
- 1000 px, 740 px and 400 px, with fluid type between them
- Touch targets
- Every link and control at least 44 px tall on small screens
- Media
- Video keeps its frame on phones and never sits under the navigation
- Navigation
- Menu button with focus handling, Escape to close and scroll offset for the fixed header
Every click has a destination.
The conversion path is deliberately short: land, understand, see proof, ask. Service cards open a full page about that service instead of scrolling to the bottom of the homepage; each service page ends with a quote request that arrives at the form with that service already selected.
- Hero call to action reaches the enquiry form in one click
- Service cards are links, not decorative cards with a hidden arrow
- The concierge demonstration opens as its own page and can be closed
- The video plays inline, downloads as a real MP4, and never blocks the page
- The form confirms with a reference the visitor can use in later correspondence
Verified, not estimated.
Static HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript for the pages, served by a Cloudflare Worker at the edge. The enquiry form posts to the same worker, which validates, rate-limits, stores in a D1 database and sends a notification email. No CMS, no page builder, no third-party analytics or tracking script.
- Front end
- Hand-written HTML and CSS, one small shared script, no framework
- Hosting
- Cloudflare Workers static assets with HTTPS and security headers
- Enquiries
- Worker API, D1 storage, hashed IP, Resend notification
- Accessibility
- Keyboard paths, visible focus, labels, contrast and reduced motion
Your site could
work this hard.
A website engagement starts with the same questions this one answered: who is arriving, what do they need to believe, and what should they do next?
